The first quarter of 2021 brought interesting trends for Simulation/Adventure games on Android in the United Kingdom. Data from Sensor Tower provides us with a glimpse into the performance of some of the top games in this category.

Starting with PK XD: Fun, friends & games, published by Afterverse Games, we observed a steady increase in downloads from 7.5K in the last week of December 2020 to a peak of nearly 13.5K in mid-February, before a slight dip to 8K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, growing from around 62K to 94.5K in early March, and then settling at about 88K.

Z & K Games' Scary Teacher 3D experienced a fluctuating download pattern, starting at 8.2K, rising to 10.7K, and then decreasing to 5.4K by the end of Q1. The weekly active users mirrored this volatility, peaking at 51K in mid-February and then dropping to approximately 43K.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery by Jam City, Inc. saw its revenue fluctuate between $49K and $61.5K, with a spike in the second week of February. Downloads for the game started at 8.9K, dipped to around 4K in mid-March, and recovered to just over 5K by the end of the quarter. Active users started strong at 106K but eventually decreased to 92K.

Nintendo Co., Ltd.'s Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp showed a revenue trend that began at $7.6K and experienced a notable increase to $8.9K in late March. Downloads and active users both saw a slight decline from the start of the quarter, with downloads beginning at 6K and active users at 50K, both stabilizing around 4.5K and 45K, respectively, by the end of March.

Lastly, Dark Riddle, developed by PAGA GAMES, had relatively low revenue figures, starting at $47 and reaching up to $166 in late March. Downloads for Dark Riddle showed a peak at 4.4K in mid-February before ending the quarter around 3.1K. Weekly active users peaked at 6.5K in mid-February and then slightly decreased to approximately 5.3K.
